He handed them both Poké Balls.

Rex grinned instantly.

Varun stayed quiet…

Holding the Poké Ball tightly.

This wasn’t a game anymore.

🌿 THE FIRST ENCOUNTER

A sudden rustle—

Ash noticed.

From deeper within the forest—

A faint glow appeared.

Not blue.

Not corrupted.

A small figure stepped out slowly.

Its body burned with a soft flame.

Eyes calm… but powerful.

But something was different.

The flames around it flickered… violently.

Like it was holding back power.

Pikachu tensed.

“Pika…?”

Ash whispered:

“That Pokémon… it’s strong.”

Charcadet stared directly at Varun.

Not scared.

Not aggressive.

It chose him.

Varun stepped forward slowly.

No fear.

No hesitation.

“Were you… waiting for me?”

The flames around Charcadet flared suddenly—

For a moment—

The entire forest lit up.

Rex stepped back.

“BRO THAT’S NOT SMALL ANYMORE 😳🔥”

Riolu narrowed its eyes.

Sensing something deeper.

Charcadet walked closer.

Step by step.

Then stopped right in front of Varun.

A silent challenge.

Varun smiled.

Varun reacted—

The flames stopped.

Silence.

Charcadet stared at him for a long second…

Shake…

Rex whispered:

Ash nodded slowly.

“That wasn’t just a catch…”

It felt warm.

Alive.

Rex stood beside him with Riolu.

“Bro… we’re really doing this.”

Varun looked ahead.

Eyes determined.
